The work is structurally sound. The backing is very slightly loose. There is surface dust and dirt in places, along with handling marks and some rubbing. There are some minor material losses in places, predominantly to the protruding parts and extreme edges. There are a few cracks in places, with some associated material losses, most notably in the lower centre. Examination under ultraviolet light shows no indication of inpainting. It is our opinion that the work is in very good condition.
