Jennifer Tee has exhibited in several prominent museums and biennials, including the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam, the Rijksmuseum, and the Busan Biennale in 2022. Her work reflects a blend of ambiguity and the cross-cultural identity of both herself and the contemporary moment, often utilizing natural and seasonal materials. Tee's labor-intensive creations heavily rely on traditional handwork, with many pieces activated through performance.
In 2016, Kunstverein collaborated with Jennifer Tee and the COBRA Museum to curate a mise-en-scene for the launch of Tee's monograph "A Soul in Limbo." Historic and lesser-known works from the museum's collection were selected to create an intimate setting. Tee has also been a consistent participant in Kunstverein's biennial Salon Hang, a vibrant group exhibition that showcases local and international talent. The artwork "Respire," currently up for auction, was part of the Salon Hang 24/7 and Sonsbeek 20→24.
