The work is structurally sound. There is a nail head visible in the lower left corner, coherent with the construction of the carrier/frame. When examined under ultraviolet light, there is a small inpainting visible in the lower left corner. There is no further apparent indication of inpainting. There is minor rubbing to the extreme edges and corners. There is some soft surface dust and dirt in places. There are faint abrasions in places.
