The canvas, stretcher and attachments are in generally good condition. There are some canvas draws in the corners. There is a small defect to the threads in the centre left area. There is some staining in the upper area, presumably water staining. There is a craquelure of circa 1 cm. in the upper right corner. Examination under ultraviolet light shows no indication of inpainting.
