The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Cette œuvre est vendue encadrée. La feuille est libre. La feuille présente une légère ondulation et a légèrement jauni. Les bords sont irréguliers. La surface est légèrement poussiéreuse. Quelques points d’accrétion et traces de manipulation sont visibles par endroits sur la surface. Quelques petits points de piqûre sont visibles le long du bord inferieur. Une zone de fines cassures du papier est visible dans le quart inférieur gauche. Une très petite déchirure est visible le long du bord inférieur dans la partie gauche, un autre le long du bord droit, dans la partie supérieure. Sous réserve de ce qui précède, selon notre opinion, l’œuvre est en bon état général.

This work is sold framed. The sheet is free. The sheet undulates slightly and has slightly yellowed. The edges are irregular. The surface is slightly dusty. A few pinpoint accretions and handling marks are visible in places to the surface. A few spots of foxing are visible along the lower edge. An area of fine paper creases is visible to the lower left quadrant. A very fine tear is visible along the lower edge to the left part and another along the right edge, to the upper part. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that this work appears to be in overall good condition.
