The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Cette œuvre est vendue encadrée. L’œuvre est sur sa toile d’origine. La toile présente une très légère ondulation. Présence de quelques très légères traces de frottement par endroits le long des bords, pour certaines associées à de minuscules points de manque de matière. Examinée à la lumière UV: pas de repeint apparent. Sous réserve de ce qui précède, selon notre opinion, l’œuvre est en bon état général de conservation.

This work is sold framed. The work is not lined. The canvas undulates very slightly. Minor rubbing is visible along the edges, for some associated to minute points of paint losses. Examined under UV light: no visible inpainting. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in overall good condition.
