The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Good overall condition. Age appropriate soiling and wear.
The pair displays scratches, marks and nicks. Age appropriate oxidation traces. Minor irregularities inherent to the making. The pieces were repatinated at a certain stage, covering oxidation marks. A few losses and nicks at some places, some uncovering the metal underneath. All consistent with age and use and not distracting to the general appearance of the piece.
