The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Sous réserve de ce qui précède et selon notre opinion, cette œuvre apparait en bonne condition générale.

The sheet is light-stained with some pale spots of foxing in places. One minute dent towards the center of the right edge. Medium is strong and fresh. Subject to the foregoing, it is in our opinion that this works appears to be in generally good condition.
