The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Cette œuvre est vendue encadrée. Le carton est libre. La surface est très légèrement encrassée et poussiéreuse. Les très légeres usures de papier et les petits résidus de colle le long des bords sont probablement dus au montage et à l'encadrement et sont invisibles lorsque l'œuvre est encadrée. Quelques petites accrétions et points de piqûre sont visibles par endroits sur la surface. Une légère trace de frottement est visible dans le quart supérieur gauche. Un point d'enfoncement par l'arrière, accompagné d'une petite craquelure, est visible dans le quart supérieur droit. Sous réserve de ce qui précède, selon notre opinion, l’œuvre est en bon état général.

This work is sold framed. The cardboard is free. The surface is very slightly dirty and dusty. The very slight wears of the paper and the small glue residues along the edges are probably due to the mounting and framing and are invisible when the work is framed. A few small accretions and points of foxing are visible in places to the surface. Minor rubbing is visible to the upper left quadrant. A small dent, associated to a very fine crack, is visible to the upper right quadrant. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in overall good condition.
