The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Non examinée hors du cadre. L'œuvre est sur sa toile d'origine. La toile est très légèrement détendue. La surface est très légèrement poussiéreuse. De petits points d'accrétion sont visibles par endroits sur la surface. Quelques traces de frottement et griffures sont visibles dans le quart inférieur droit. Examinée à la lumière UV: présence d’un repeint le long du bord gauche, au centre. Sous réserve de ce qui précède, selon notre opinion, l’œuvre est en bon état général de conservation.

Not examined out of the frame. The work is not lined. The canvas is very slightly loose. The surface is very slightly dusty. A few pinpoint accretions are visible in places to the surface. Minor rubbing and scratches are visible to the lower right quadrant. Examined under UV light: there is a inpainting to the left edge, to the center. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in overall good condition.
