The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Cette œuvre est vendue sans cadre. L'œuvre est sur sa toile d'origine. De très légères traces de frottement sont visibles par endroits sur la surface, principalement le long des bords. Une légère griffure est visible dans l'angle supérieur droit. Deux petits points d'enfoncement, accompagnés de légères craquelures sont visibles dans le quart supérieur gauche. Examinée à la lumière UV: pas de repeint apparent. Sous réserve de ce qui précède, selon notre opinion, l’œuvre est en bon état général de conservation.

The work is sold without a frame. The work is not lined. Minor rubbing are visible in places to the surface, mostly along the edges. There is a slight scratch to the upper right corner. Two very small points of dent, associated to very fine drying cracks, are visible to the upper left quadrant. Examined under UV light: no visible inpainting. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in overall good condition.
