Graphite sur papier. La feuille est maintenue par des fausses-marges. Le bord supérieur est légèrement irrégulier avec deux petits manques de papier (probablement dus au fait que la feuille a été précédemment retirée du carnet de croquis de l’artiste). La feuille est légèrement insolée associé à quelques piqûres par endroits. Le medium est vif et frais sur l’ensemble de la composition. Sous réserve de ce qui précède et selon notre opinion, cette œuvre apparait en très bonne condition générale.
Pencil on paper. The reverse of the sheet is hinged along the edges with Japan paper to a sheet support that has been cut to shape to allow both sides of the drawing to be fully visible. The upper edge slighlty uneven with two small paper losses (probably due to the sheet being previously removed from the artist's sketchbook). Some pale light-staining with a few pale spots of foxing in places. The medium is strong and fresh throughout. Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that this work appears to be in generally very good condition.
