Tra il 1946 e il 1953, Leonor Fini partecipa a sedici balli in maschera indossando costumi spettacolari di sovente pubblicati sulle riviste. Nel dicembre del 1948 riesce ad apparire sulla copertina di 'American This Week' con una elaborata maschera da civetta.

Between 1946 and 1953, Leonor Fini attended sixteen costume balls, her spectacular outifts being always featured in magazines. In December 1948 she made it on to the cover of 'American This Week' wearing an elaborate owl mask.
