Il miglior pittore italiano della sua generazione capì prima degli altri che il mondo era cambiato e che, per il momento, l'unico strumento disponibile per non essere sfrattati dalla storia era continuare a viverla storicamente: una vera e propria rivoluzione estetica. Le parole dipinte e/o emulsionate entrano nell'immagine, la influenzano, la interpretano e la decorano, come un ornamento duttile e mobile.

The best Italian painter of his generation understood before the others that the world had changed and that, for the time being, the only available tool not to be evicted from history was to continue experiencing it historically: a genuine aesthetic revolution. The painted and/or emulsified words enter the image, they affect it, interpret it and decorate it, like some supple and mobile ornament.
