The linen, stretcher and attachments appear to be in generally good condition. There is minor rubbing to all four corners. There is soft superficial rubbing with associated pinpoint paint loss to the surface due to artist's working method. When examined under ultra-violet light there is no indication of inpainting. It is our view that the work appears to be in generally good condition.
