The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The work is structurally sound. All elements are present. There is general wear and tear to all elements, presumably due to the artist's choice of medium and intent. There is minor rubbing in places to the extreme edges of the metal bars and plywood base. There are minute spots of accretion along the inside section of the metal basket due to the artist's choice of medium. There is a minor nick, with associated hairline abrasions, in the metal on the outer back horizontal right edge of the main body of the metal structure. There is a superficial layer of dust on all surfaces of the work. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in generally good condition.
The condition of lots sold can vary widely due to factors such as age, previous damage, restoration, repair, and wear and tear. The nature of the lots sold means that they will rarely be in perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
