Bindings rather worn, with splits; leather slightly perished. Baker volume has upper cover detached. Berry and Herman and Baker spines are split and front covers are loose. Dissertation front cover loose, spine split with some losses.
All letters rather spotted. Letter of 7 January split at folds and repaired with old tape, causing damage. Letter of 22 March 1946 torn at lower margin with loss.
