The artwork is a watercolor and gouache painting on watercolor paper. The piece was previously mounted to another substrate and residue from the prior mounting is visible on the verso. The original paper support is in good and stable condition, as are the media layers which have been applied directly to the paper. There is minor staining, predominantly along the right edge of the artwork, and a small irregularity at the left center edge, as well as two scratches, which are only visible in raking light, within the right side. The artwork is in overall very good condition. It is signed and dated at the lower left in black: "F.A. Silva, '78".
