The paper is laid down on a board, which is hinged to the front mat with a piece of tape along the reverse upper edge. Remnants of tape along the other reverse edges. The pigments appear slightly faded and the paper is slightly toned. There appears to be mat burn from a prior presentation along the top and right edges, about ½ in. from the edges. There is a 1 in. tear in the lower right corner, with a corresponding reinforcement on the reverse of the board.
