The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The paper is stable on its canvas support. With minor surface soiling and frame abrasion, as to be expected with age. With scattered pinpoint losses, most notably at lower center and lower right. With a 2 in. long u-shaped surface scratch at lower center. Examined under ultraviolet light revealing multiple campaigns of restorations. Overall with scattered touch ups, most notably to the four edges. Further inspection is hindered by a milky green varnish. Please note the frame is sold as is.
