The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Work not examined outside of frame. With very fine craquelure. The right edge of the painting on a separate strip of paper, probably later. With scattered areas of pigment loss, most notably along the edge of the applied strip and to the dog's body. With losses at the upper left and right edges.. Examined under ultraviolet light. With possible scattered touchups. Further inspection hindered by the varnish. Please note the frame is sold as is.
