The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In good overall condition, with the typical small losses to the gilding, mainly at the rims of the cups and finial of the stopper, consistent with age and use; one of the cups with a tiny shallow chip (approx. 1mm x 1mm) to its foot; the handle of the decanter previously off and reattached, with small areas of associated touch-up to the surrounding gilding and enamel; a few scatted tiny losses to the raised areas of the enamel.
