The engraved crest is that of Brodie, likely for Sir Benjamin Vincent Sellon (1862 - 1938), 3rd Baronet of Boxford, County Suffolk. Born to Sir Benjamin Collins Brodie (1817 - 1880), 2nd Baronet, and Philothea Margaret Thompson (d. 1882), Benjamin succeeded as 3rd Baronet in 1880 before marrying Caroline Eliza Woodriff (1859 - 1895) on 4 May 1887, with whom he had three children. Following his graduation from Magdalen College, Oxford, he was admitted to Lincoln's Inn to practice as a Barrister, before holding the offices of Justice of the Peace, County Alderman, and finally High Sheriff in 1912 for County Surrey.
