The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
Each piece in overall good condition; with the expected minor surface wear and scratches; some with scattered light fritting and small losses to the high points and rims; further condition noted below.
Ten miniature baluster vases and covers; 33⁄4 in. (9.6 cm.) high – each cover secured with wax (removable); a few with very minor shallow glaze losses to the finial; two with tiny rim chips to the cover; one with two rim chips to the cover and a shallow loss to the footrim; each with a slight haze to the surface typical of cargo wares, possibly from a shipwreck.
Eight miniature bottle vases; 31⁄2 in. (8.9 cm.) high – one with a small rim repair and a few short hairlines and glaze lines to the mouth and footrims; one with touch-ups to one side of the mouthrim; one with small filled in rim chips and associated short hairline; one with a crescent-shaped rim break and a filled in rim chip; one with a small filled in rim chip; one with a short hairline issuing from the rim; one with two small filled in rim chips, each with a very short associated hairline; one with a small filled in rim chip; each with a slight haze to the surface typical of cargo wares, possibly from a shipwreck.
Five two-handled miniature quatrefoil vases and three covers; 41⁄2 in. (11.5 cm.) high, overall – as noted, two vases lacking covers; each with some fritting and tiny rim chips; one cover restored at the rim, another with a small rim chip.
A pair miniature vases molded with oval panels; 41⁄2 in. (11.5 cm.) high – one with a small shallow loss to the foot rim.
A pair miniature hexagonal two-handled vases; 4 in. (10.2 cm.) high – the top of each handle left in biscuit; one with a firing crack through the top a handle; the other with some minor staining to one handle.
A pair of miniature oviform vases (covers lacking); 31⁄4 in. (8.3 cm.) high – each lacking its cover; one with small losses to its mouthrim.
A pair of miniature bottle vases painted with equestrian and other figures; 23⁄4 in. (7 cm.) high – tiny losses to the footrims; one with rubbing to the glaze.
A small spiral-molded vase; 33⁄4 in. (9.5 cm.) high – overall good condition.

A small faceted double-gourd vase; 31⁄2 in. (8.9 cm.) high – a small loss to the mouthrim.
Four coffee cups in two patterns; 25⁄8 in. (6.5 cm.) high – overall good condition; one with its handle restuck.
A pair of miniature tankards; 25⁄8 in. (6.5 cm.) high – overall good condition.
A pair of hexagonal tea bowls with everted rims; 33⁄8 in. (8.5 cm.) diameter – overall good condition.
A pair of miniature hexagonal tea bowls or wine cups painted with cranes; 21⁄8 in. (5.5 cm.) diameter – overall good condition; one with Marchant label to interior.
An octagonal reticulated double-walled cup; 31⁄8 in. (8 cm.) high – a small area of loss to the reticulated decoration; with a few small rim chips and a short hairline to the footrim.
A two-handled cup; 21⁄2 in. (6.4 cm.) high – with a hairline issuing from the rim, approx. 2 inches long; a second hairline at the center of the bowl.
A footed bowl; 37⁄8 in. (7.3 cm.) high – some fritting and tiny losses to the footrim.
