The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

This attractive centre table is in overall good condition and has had sympathetic restoration.
There are repairs and replacements to the amethyst, particularly to the central panel. As a result, some amethyst is of a darker colour. There are also some patched repairs, cracks and small areas of infill as to be expected with age and use.
There is some tarnishing to the brass mounts with some small areas of verdigris, the banding is also fairly worn.
The base is in good overall condition with some minor tarnishing, chips and knocks.
The top and base are not joined together and so it is not structurally sound. It would benefit from having a fixture added.
