The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The work is supported on the reverse with a linen lining. Overall with minor undulation and surface soiling to the sheet. With minor mat and light staining, most notably to the extreme edges. With some scattered hard creases and losses, including one at the lower left edge, 4.5 in. long. An approx. 2/5 in. long repaired tear at the lower left corner with an associated network of minor creases and tears. An approx. 1 x 1.5 in. repaired area at center right.
