The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The work is supported on the reverse by a sheet of paper. With minor undulation and surface soiling. With mat and light staining, most notably to the extreme edge. Additional areas of discoloration at the upper and lower edges, possibly a result of the adhesive used. Please note Christie's does not guarantee the condition of frames.
