Overall good condition with light surface scratches and minor wear commensurate with age and gentle use. The gilt bronze presents with minor abrasions, minor wear, and scattered areas of light oxidation typical with aging of this material. The glass presents with light surface scratches and very minor wear.
The photograph frame with a rectangle opening lacking the central glass plate. The glass along the longer edge with a three-line hairline crack extending 11⁄2 in.. The standing photograph frame with previously restored scattered cracks to the glass, stable, only visible upon close inspection. The matchbox holder and ashtray with arms that are slightly pressed in and scattered areas of residue and oxidation along the top of the base. The letter clip with a concentrated area of oxidation and residue horizontally across the middle of the top of the clip (approx. 21⁄4 x 1⁄4 in.). The ink blotter with updated felt pads and minor wear to the top of the finial. The notepad holder with a wooden base. The top with minor scattered areas of residue. The underside with applied piece of paper affixed with tape. The utility box with a slightly worn hinge. The rocker blotter with a minor tear to the pad along the underside. The pen wipes with minor scattered ink marks just below the mouth rim.
