The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Please note antique textiles exhibit wear, losses, soiling and tears from normal use and repurposing. Some elements are re-pieced together with complimentary or contemporaneous textiles to mend.

A beautiful example of an early Italian silk. There are early patch repairs to small tears and pinhead holes. Light fading and scattered areas of minor soiling as to be expected with age. There's a small tear at the joined panel seam approx. 1 in. in length, light fraying at the edges, one slightly irregular.
