The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
Please note antique textiles exhibit wear, losses, soiling and tears from normal use and repurposing. Some elements are re-pieced together with complimentary or contemporaneous textiles to mend.
The valances with professional restoration in areas. Overall with some scattered discoloration and rubbing to the embroidery threads, particularly to the petite point figures. Each piece with a band across the bottom probably later added. The skirt valances with areas of reworking.
