The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Please note antique textiles exhibit wear, losses, soiling and tears from normal use and repurposing. Some elements are re-pieced together with complimentary or contemporaneous textiles to mend.

‌Overall with some fading to the silk as expected with age. The ground with scattered abrasions. The polychrome silk threads with scattered rubbing, fraying and losses, revealing the ground beneath in areas. The ends with some fraying.
