Overall fairly good decorative condition and ready to hang. There is a later fabric strip with poppers for hanging to the reverse of the upper edge. The tapestry is lined only around the edges covering about half the border all around. There are scattered restorations throughout, including to the large animals in the foreground. Very faded and discoloured throughout, consistent with age and exposure to light. Patches of discolouration to the blue outer slip. The original colours remain vividly visible to the reverse. Some opening of warp slits along the borders.
