The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The paint surface was previously refreshed and has incurred significant losses; significant losses to the gilding.
The ledge probably later; minor losses to the ewer designs at each end of the ledge; losses to the feet of the Virgin and to the fourth finger of the proper left hand of the Christ child; other minor losses. The Christ child probably old and associated and with a redundent peg hole to the underside. The velvet covering to ledge and reverse later and somewhat faded/discoloured. Minor losses to the later wood plinth.
Otherwise in good and structurally stable condition overall.
