The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the condition of these pieces acquired after their initial manufacture.

The agate vase and cover:
- The beast on the finial of the cover with its horn chipped and missing.
- There are very minor nicks to the rim and footrim.
- There are some natural dark inclusions to the stone visible on the illustrations.
Otherwise, the vase is in overall good condition, with some slight age-related surface wear / scratches as can be expected.

The jade cup:
- There some minute nicks to the edges, some of them possibly polished.
- There are natural dark inclusions and lines within the stone.
Otherwise, it is in overall good condition.

The agate group:
- There are two chips to the raised decoration.

The amethyst group:
- There is a flat chip to the raised decoration.
- There are few nicks.

The rock crystal figure:
- There is a small flat chip to the right sleeve.
- There are few minute nicks.
Otherwise, the figure is in overall good condition with some natural inclusions within the stone.
