We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
- There is some restoration to the inner top rim of the cover with associated losses, measuring approx. 3 cm. x 0.5 cm.
- There are losses and shallow chips to approx. half of the rim of the interior of the box
- There are a few age cracks to the black lacquer to the interior of the box and cover
- There are some areas of touch-ups to the red lacquer, mainly to the rims.
- There are few minute nicks to the raised decoration.
- There is general age-related surface wear as can be expected.
