The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the condition of these pieces acquired after their initial manufacture.

The water-dropper:
Good overall condition with minute firing spots and burst glaze bubbles in places.

The water pot and cover:
A minute frit to the cover's rim.
Some fritting to the pot's mouth rim.
The feet possibly slightly polished.
A few short glaze crackles.

General age-related surface wear and scratches as can be expected.
