The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
- A hole was pierced underneath the globe.
- There are some areas of losses / dents on the upper-part of the head stand.
- There are some areas of filled-ins / restorations on the stand.
- There are areas of pitting as can be expected.
- There are areas of wear to the gilt rims.
There are some minor age-related cracks, losses, scratches and wear as can be expected.
