The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the condition of these pieces acquired after their initial manufacture.
- The belt-hook is in good condition, with some minor age-related scratches, as can be expected.
- The cloisonne enamel elements with some areas of pitting as can be expected.
- The cloisonne enamel elements with some areas of filled-ins / restorations.
- There are some minor age cracks, losses and age-related wear to the cloisonne enamel elements as can be expected.
