The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the condition of these pieces acquired after their initial manufacture.

The green jade belt hook:
There are a few short thin crack lines on one side with associated minute losses along the lines.
There are a few minute nicks to the edges and rims.
There is a small chip to the relief chilong's proper right arm.
There are natural russet and dark inclusions within the stone.

The jadeite plaque:
There are a few small chips, including to the raised rim and to the relief chilong's proper right arm.
There are some minute nicks to the rims and surface.
A small section of the relief scroll on one side has been polished.
There are natural inclusions within the stone as visible on the images.

General age-related surface wear as can be expected.
