The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
The jue has been cast in several sections.
One vertical tenon is slightly bent inward.
Some wear to the gilding.
Some small scattered indentations.
Some small casting faults all around, two more important casting faults on a leg.
Some nicks to the edges and rims.
General age-related surface wear and scratches as can be expected.
