The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
- There is little pitting all over.
- There is some wear to the gilding on one leg.
- There is little oxidisation, mainly on the paws and one wing.
- The crane is fixed to the wood stand with nails.
Otherwise, it is in overall good condition with some slight age-related surface wear as can be expected.
