The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the condition of this pieces acquired after the initial period of manufacture.
- As evident in the images, there are various knocks and dents to the vessel in particular to the rim
- There are a few tiny splits to the metal rim in places and also a split to the base measuring approximately 3 cm long.
- The vessel has extensive losses to the enamels and evident restoration and areas of infill and over-painting in multiple places.
- There is a later added suspension ring on the underside of the base.
