CHINE, LATE QING DYNASTY (1644-1911)

The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the condition of these pieces acquired after their initial manufacture.

The 12 cm high figure :
- The upper part of the stick is probably missing.
- There are few minute nicks, one of them possibly polished.
- There are natural flaw lines and inclusions.

The 17.8 cm high figure :
- There are some cloudy inclusions.
- It is in overall good condition.

The 21.7 cm high figure :
- There are some minute nicks to the foot rim and to the bottom of the robe.
- There are some surface bruises on the back of the figure.
- There are some flaw lines and inclusions.
- Otherwise, it is in overall good condition.
