The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after their initial manufacture.

The two foliated dishes:
- Both foliated dishes with extensive surface wear and scratches inside and outside the dish.
- One dish with an approx. 5 cm. long hairline crack starting from the mouth rim.
- Some minute nicks to the rims.
- The foot rims have been possibly partly polished.

The larger dish:
- The dish is warped.
- A chip (approx. 5 cm. wide) to the mouth rim.
- Some smaller chips and nicks along the mouth rim.
- The glaze extensively worn inside the dish.
- Some sections of the mouth rim have been abrased.
- Some firing flaws.
- The foot rim has been partly polished.
