The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the condition of these pieces acquired after their initial manufacture.

The translucent snuff bottle:
- Few minute nicks on the rims and edges.
- An approx. 1 cm. long hairline crack on the foot rim.
- Some surface scratches.
- The stopper with nicks to the rims and a hairline.
- The spoon is missing.

The overlay snuff bottle:
- Few minute star-cracks to the mouth rim, possibly due to a shock.
- Minute nicks on the rims and edges.
- Minute surface scratches.
- The spoon is missing.

Both with general age-related surface wear as can be expected.
