The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the condition of these pieces acquired their initial manufacture.

The covered vase with the handle :
- There are two small polished nicks to the cover's inner rim.
- There are possibly polished nicks to the foot rim.
- There is a small nick to the vase's mouth rim.
- There are natural russet inclusions and flaw lines.

The covered vase with the chain :
- There are minute nicks to the cover's rims.
- There are some nicks to the vase's mouth rim.
- There are some minute nicks to the foot rim.
- There are natural russet flaw lines and inclusions.
