The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
We have sought to record changes in the condition of these pieces acquired after their initial manufacture.
The smallest parrots:
- A minute chip to the extremity of their beaks.
- The extremity of both tails possibly chipped.
- One with a chip to the base.
- Wear to the red decoration.
- Some firing cracks.
- One with the rocky base broken and restuck, associated with touch-ups.
The largest parrots:
- One with its head broken and restored.
- A minute chip to the extremity of their beaks.
- Some firing cracks and firing flaws.
The camel:
- A small chip to the mouth.
- Surface nicks.
- Surface scratches.
