Condition report
A Christie's specialist may contact you to discuss this lot or to notify you if the condition changes prior to the sale.
The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture. - There are few very minute nicks to the mouth rims. - There is a minute nick to the extremity of the snuff bottle associated with a minute crack within the stone. - There are some natural cloudy inclusions within the stone. - The jade stopper with a minute section possibly polished on its top rim ; the spoon is missing. Otherwise, the snuff bottle is in overall good condition with some slight age-related surface wear as can be expected.
