拍品专文

Ceremonial altar vessels, dou, from the Qing dynasty can be found in a variety of monochrome glazes and palletes including famille rose and iron-red enamels. The yellow glaze, archaistic design and size of the present lot may be compared with the Guangxu mark and period dou and cover sold at Christie's New York, 19 September 2012, lot 926. A dou and cover, Guangxu mark and period, decorated with iron-red dragons was sold at Christie's Paris, 8 December 2021, lot 193.
