We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
The cover:
- There is a chip to the interior of the rim, measuring approx. 1.2 x 0.5 cm.
- There is a firing flaw to the glaze enclosing the exterior of the rim.
- There are two glaze chips to the exterior of the rim.
The vessel:
- There are a few shallow chips to the mouth and the foot rim.
Overall, there are some general age-related surface wear and scratches, as may expected.
